Sustainable kitchen
Located next to our natural swimming pond of Ganesha, our restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring traditional Khmer and international cuisine made with ethically sourced ingredients. Many of these ingredients are grown organically at the resort, or on our farm in Kampong Speu. You can even pick some of the produce and we can show you how it’s prepared. Our luscious tropical garden also produces many of our organic fruits, veggies and herbs grown within open beds or in our specially adapted greenhouses.
All of our staff are from our local community and put the utmost care into preparing your meal. We proudly serve all our dishes using NO mono sodium glutamate!
Units with character
We have designed our units with as many local materials as possible, reclaiming wood where we can, to ensure minimal environmental and visual impact. All our designs provide you with comfort without compromising a unique eco experience at the resort. Gaze at the crystal clear Milky Way on the balcony of your very own stilted Tribal Hut in the garden, or enjoy the stunning 360 panoramic views from the top of the family Tower. Throw open your double doors onto the rich mangrove, watching butterflies, fish and even king fishers from your private, nestled waterfront cottage.

Sustainability in all that we do
We have recently renovated the entire resort to bring it up to a higher standard for our guests. We understand the need, especially in tropical climes, for a little cooling from time to time. Our rooms are now air-conditioned with as low footprint units as possible, we have provided fans for those times we can do without. Upgrading our kitchens in a completely new restaurant and bar makes it possible to offer even more to our guests. All rooms are either ensuite, or for the children’s bunk rooms with shower rooms immediately adjacent.
Obviously all of these improvements puts an additional load on our energy consumption. To maintain our commitment to the environment we have now installed a 25KWp solar farm at the site with smart metering to supply about 80% of our overall needs. We have also upgraded all of our drainage to a 3 stage filtered system to reed bed field drains to minimize our impact on the local systems. Finally we have also improved our recycling and composting on site to eliminate as much waste as we can on site.
We will continue to invest in the resort to minimize our footprint and maintain our already high standards. In our recent renovations we took the opportunity to also stabilize the riverbank at our cottages with local wood and stone. We have planted a wide mix of indigenous trees for long term soil stabilization and a hundred mixed fruit trees to supply the resort and the local area. Our new greenhouses were also installed at this time which we hope will be welcomed by our guests.
